      4. Description of the procurement:

        Contest with negotiation with prequalification. The directorate of public construction and property would like tenders for a nationwide (including Svalbard) delivery of data lines, with an option for associated services.

        The directorate of public construction and property would like to enter into a contract with 1 tenderer in order to fulfil a total delivery of WAN communication lines.

        The aim is to get a nationwide supplier who shall ensure the hire of WAN communication lines and necessary services for the directorate of public construction and property.

        The contracting authority currently has more than 200 locations distributed over the all of mainland Norway, as well as an office in Longyearbyen in Svalbard. It is a prerequisite that the same nationwide main supplier can offer data lines and services at all existing and future locations. It shall be possible to use new and more effective /future orientated technology that will come on the market during the agreement period.
