Revaluation/new valuation property tax
Alta municipality has decided to carry out a general revaluation of all properties, including works, in the municipality, from the year 2019. An expert valuation committee has prepared and approved the document “Frameworks and guidelines for valuations pursuant to the Property Tax Act”, which state which frameworks and guidelines apply to the revaluation in 2018 (market level per 1.1.2019), as well as for individual valuations in the following 10 year period. The valuations shall be carried out in accordance with the Property Tax Act §8 A-3 (4), in which an expert valuation committee approves valuations or proposals from a valuation company. Alta municipality uses its own employees to inspect houses, holiday homes and agricultural properties.

Valuation of commercial buildings, shops and offices.
All commercial properties were revalued and had new valuations in 2009. All data on commercial properties is registered in the land register and has a reasonable degree of accuracy. Residential units that are integrated in commercial properties shall be inspected and valued by the supplier of the municipality´s template for residential properties. The contracting authority issues a list of all objects. The tenderer will have free access to the land register data through KomTek Besiktiger. The tenderer must himself provide a tablet with the Android operative system.
A general reference for valuation work is the rules in the Town Tax Act § 5, cf. the Property Tax Act § 33.
All the valuation work shall be delivered to the contracting authority as follows:
— In digital format straight into the administration system Komtek,
— In some cases, when necessary, in paper format on special forms prepared by the contracting authority.
The contracting authority has put aside the period 1.5.2018 — 31.8.2018 for the valuation work.

Part B, Works
All works were revalued in 2009. The works category includes properties for material production, i.e. processing materials. A special valuation her is whether the production equipment is integrated in the building in such a way that the machines and equipment shall be valued. Cf. esktl §8 A-2 (2). The contracting authority issues a list of all objects. The tenderer will have free access to the land register data through Komtek Besiktiger. The tenderer must himself provide a tablet with the Android operative system.
