         The Norwegian Railway Directorate will hold a competition in 2017 for work on railway capacity.

         The existing framework agreements for this expire 31.12.2017. Based on this, the new contracts must be signed before the mentioned date. The competition will be announced in Q2 2017 in DOFFIN and TED.

         The Norwegian Railway Directorate would, therefore, like to invite tenderers to a competition for a framework agreement with several tenderers for work on railway capacity in 2017.

         The framework agreement is owned by the Traffic and Capacity Section in the Norwegian Railway Directorate. The competition will include a rental agreement and an assignment agreement. Assignments that will be included in the contract will be the following, for example, (the list is not exhaustive):

         — develop tender concepts and route models,

         — dimensioning the infrastructure,

         — calculate capacity and analyze capacity use,

         — develop methods for implementing capacity reviews.

         The tender documentation has not been completed yet, but it will be ready when the competition is announced.
